Peter joined the Bock lab in 2016 as a predoctoral fellow after studying molecular biology at the University of Vienna with several practical stints in academia and industry, culminating in his master thesis on metastatic drivers in ccRCCs performed in the Vanharanta group (MRC Cancer Unit, Hutchison, Cambridge, UK).
In his PhD project he combines cutting-edge single-cell sequencing methods with (epi-)genome engineering to probe molecular regulators of hematopoiesis and macrophage functions.
