Anne-Christine completed her studies with a Master degree in molecular biology and microbiology at the University of Strasbourg in 2006. Immediately after graduating, she started to work in biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies. She had her first professional experience in Basilea Pharmaceutica (Basel-Switzerland), where she mainly did microbiology for the discovery of new antibiotics. In 2008, she moved to Novartis in the Natural Product Unit that belongs to the Novartis Institute for BioMedical Research, where she continued to perform research in the drug discovery field. Subsequently, she was enrolled in the Bioreaction Unit where she worked on interdisciplinary projects with teams composed of machine learning scientists, biochemists, molecular biologists, biocatalysts, and analytical scientists. Since September 2021, she is a senior research technician at CeMM and takes part in various research projects.
