Francesco Piras

Francesco pursued his PhD in Molecular Medicine at the San Raffaele University in Milan, Italy. His work was aimed at understanding virus-host interactions in the context of human hematopoietic stem cell gene engineering. He is currently working to develop novel and creative strategies to improve the safety and efficacy of adoptive immunotherapies for cancer.
