Melissa has completed her Master’s degree in Cellular and Molecular Biotechnology from the University of Trento. During her Master’s thesis at the Karolinska Institutet, she worked on the development of a genome-wide CRISPR screening platform to investigate polymer-mediated RNP delivery in human cell lines. She joined the Bock Laboratory in 2026 as a Guest Scientist, working on the CAR T-cell therapy project.
