Sabrina Ladstätter
Senior Postdoctoral Fellow & Scientific Project Manager
Sabrina joined the lab in 2020 as senior postdoctoral fellow and scientific project manager. She obtained a MSc in Biotechnology in Germany, and a PhD in Molecular Biology at the University of Vienna, Austria. Her PhD work focused on epigenetic reprogramming in the pre-implantation embryo, and received a number of Austrian awards. During her postdoc at IMBA, Vienna, she applied single-cell imaging and single-cell genomics in the context of developmental and stem cell biology. Sabrina is currently pursuing single-cell analysis to characterize and validate organoids as faithful models for human physiology and disease. Her work includes the scientific project management of an EU-funded Human Cell Atlas project focusing on single-cell sequencing of human organoids (HCA|Organoid - https://hca-organoid.eu).
